Which is better for treatment a surgeon or a homeopathic doctor? Can medicines alone fix health issues without needing surgery? I'm worried about going under the knife and want to explore other options first.

My mom had knee surgery for a fracture and she has hypothyroidism but we didn't get her thyroid levels checked before the surgery was that really necessary or could it affect her recovery
Uncontrolled hypothyroidism can impact surgical recovery—thyroid function should ideally be checked pre-op.

6 weeks post ACL surgery and my physiotherapist keeps forcefully bending my knee during home visits, causing intense pain. He increases the bend every day with more pressure and also compresses my knee while elevating my leg from the ankle. Is this normal or is he being too aggressive with the recovery process?
Pain from physio should be tolerable; forceful passive bending early on may harm—consider a second opinion.
