My 80-year-old diabetic uncle fell from his bed and now has swelling on his left thigh. The X-ray shows a fracture. Can this heal without surgery or is surgery necessary? At his age and with diabetes, is surgery even safe for him?

View allHad surgery for giant cell tumor removal from my distal femur knee area on 14/4/2022 with extended curettage cementing plating. It's been 3 weeks but I can only bend my knee around 75-80 degrees and feel heaviness near the surgical site. Is this recovery pace normal or should I be concerned about my knee's range of motion?
ortho opinion is advised to the patient.

MRI shows interstitial injury in my ACL but the ligament is still intact, plus a grade 2 signal in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and mild joint effusion. I don't have knee pain, just a little discomfort behind the knee. Do I need surgery or can physiotherapy help with this?
