MRI shows interstitial injury in my ACL but the ligament is still intact, plus a grade 2 signal in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and mild joint effusion. I don't have knee pain, just a little discomfort behind the knee. Do I need surgery or can physiotherapy help with this?

Found a lump in my hand and doctors are recommending surgery but I'm worried are there other treatment options I could try first

My dad has really bad arthritis and his right knee joint is out of place. The pain is severe in almost all his joints. Doctors are recommending knee replacement surgery based on his X-ray report. What do you suggest we do?
