I've had a hole in my eardrum for a long time, but for the past few months, my hearing has gotten really bad. What should I do? If surgery is needed, what's the procedure like and how much does it cost? Also, can you recommend a good ENT specialist in East Delhi?

View allI'm dealing with a sore throat and dry mouth, and it gets worse when I wake up. I've tried proton pump inhibitors, so I don't think it's acid reflux since I didn't get any relief, plus I don't have heartburn or burps after meals. I've also noticed some numbness at the tip of my tongue. What could be causing these symptoms?

What precautions should I take after an eardrum surgery and how long should I avoid washing my hair to prevent water from entering the ear
After eardrum surgery, it's crucial to keep the ear dry and avoid activities that could put pressure on the ear. Generally, you should avoid washing your hair or showering for at least a week after surgery and for up to 6 weeks, you should prevent water from entering the operated ear. To do this, you can use a cotton ball coated with Vaseline to form a barrier before showering or washing your hair

I've been dealing with strep throat for the past two years, and it keeps coming back almost every month. My tonsils get those white and yellow patches, and I also notice small bumps at the back of my tongue. Meds help for a bit, but it never really goes away. Would getting my tonsils removed be a permanent fix for this?
tonsilectomy is advised .
