I've had this lump filled with pus on one of my butt cheeks for about a month now, and it was really painful. I pressed on it to get the pus out, and while it's not inflamed or painful anymore, the skin's still hard. Do you know how I can get rid of the scar and get my skin back to normal? Also, I'm wondering why this happened in the first place and how I can prevent it from happening again.

I'm dealing with this really annoying pain right at my tailbone and on the skin around it, exactly where the upper part of the butt cheeks meet. It usually flares up when I'm lying on my back and puts pressure on that area. Honestly, it's been so painful that it's making sleep tough. I've been dealing with pretty bad acne on my cheeks lately, with new pimples popping up almost every other day. These turn into pus-filled spots and end up leaving some dark marks behind. The skin in that area seems almost lifeless now, with open pores that easily turn into blackheads and whiteheads. Whenever I try to deal with those, it often leads to more pimples or even injuries. Is there anything I can do to improve this situation? I'm 36 and I'm currently using Tivenca gel, Divaine 50 mg tablets twice daily, Ahaglow face wash, and a CDC solution with calamine, sulphur, and salicylic acid, along with Episoft. Does this sound like the right approach or should I be doing something different?
