I've had sciatica pain in my right leg for 3 months now and my MRI shows a 3.5 mm L5S1 disc bulge. Will I need surgery to fix this permanently or are there other options? How long does it usually take to recover from this kind of issue?

I've been diagnosed with a tarlov cyst in the S1S2 area and disc bulges at L3L4 and L3L5. Sitting causes pain in my buttocks and lower back, plus there's radiating pain down my left leg. A neurosurgeon recommended surgery for the cyst should I go ahead with it or explore other options first? What are the risks if I delay treatment?

If these fail to provide sufficient relief, surgery might be considered, but it's not always necessary, and the benefits should be carefully weighed against the risks

I've been diagnosed with a diffuse annular disc bulge at L4-L5 causing thecal sac indentation and bilateral recess narrowing with nerve compression. My doctor mentioned endoscopic discectomy but I'm not sure if it's really necessary will this procedure actually provide a permanent fix or are there other options I should consider first?

Discectomy is the procedure done by a neurosurgeon.

My mom is 60 and has a brain tumor (57mm) along with a gallbladder stone (12mm). The doctors are suggesting we prioritize the brain tumor surgery first and refusing to operate on the gallbladder due to risks. We're really confused shouldn't the gallbladder stone be taken care of first? What's the best course of action here?

Neurosurgeon opinion is advised for further treatment.
