I've had a small lump on the right side of my tongue for the past two years. It hasn't changed in size or shape, and it doesn't cause any pain or problems, but I'm still worried about it. Can you tell me why these kinds of lumps appear on the tongue and what might have caused it? Also, is there any way to treat or remove it without surgery?

I've noticed that my mom, who's 55, often feels a cold sensation in her chest, and sometimes it feels like it's stuck in her throat when she's eating. It causes her breathing problems during those times. Do you think we should see a lung specialist or an ENT doctor for this?
Your mom's symptoms, such as feeling cold in the chest, throat blockage while eating, and breathing difficulties, could be related to either a respiratory or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) issue; it's recommended to consult a pulmonologist (lung specialist)
