I've had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now and initially, there was some pain and an uncomfortable feeling. I used to smoke but haven't smoked for the last 3 weeks. I've taken antibiotics and it's better nowthere isn't any pain, but my throat still feels uncomfortable and it dries out quickly. Do you think it's something serious, or is there any way to get this to fully clear up?

Ear pain in children can be concerning.

Diclofenac (Diclogem) is a pain reliever, but it's essential to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Possible causes of ear pain when bending:

  • Earwax buildup
  • Middle ear infection
  • Eustachian tube dysfunction

Schedule an appointment with a pediatrician or ENT specialist for:

  • Thorough examination
  • Proper diagnosis
  • Targeted treatment

Monitor your son's symptoms and seek immediate medical attention if pain worsens or is accompanied by fever, discharge, or difficulty hearing.

I accidentally swallowed a small sharp chicken bone and now it feels like it's stuck in my throat. Is this something normal, or should I be worried about any potential danger? How can I deal with this problem?

Accidentally swallowing a sharp chicken bone can be concerning as it may cause injury or irritation in the throat. It is important to seek medical attention if you are experiencing symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, pain when swallowing, drooling, or chest pain. In the meantime, you can try eating soft foods and drinking plenty of water to help the bone pass through the digestive tract. If you experience severe pain or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical help.

I've had these holes in my ears since I was a kid, but I'm not really sure what they are. I did some googling and it looks like they might need surgery if they ever get infected. Here's the thing: I have no idea if my ears are infected or not. Every time I press near the holes, some kind of fluid comes out. Do you have any idea what this could be? Should I be worried?
