I've had stable eyesight for about a year now with -2.50 in my right eye and -2.75 in the left. I'm considering Contoura vision surgery but not sure if it's the best option for me what do you think would work better for my prescription?

Contoura vision is effective for your prescription; a refractive specialist can confirm eligibility based on corneal scans.

View allMy mother has been diagnosed with early-stage cataracts in both eyes but they're not fully formed yet. Should she consider surgery now or wait until they're more advanced? Also, is it safe to operate on both eyes within two days one eye one day and the next eye the following day? What else should we keep in mind about the procedure and recovery?
It's generally advisable to have cataract surgery when it starts impacting daily life, whether the cataracts are early or more advanced. Waiting for cataracts to fully mature isn't necessary and can sometimes lead to complications. Operating on both eyes within two days, one day per eye, is generally considered safe and can be beneficial for quicker recovery and convenience. However, individual circumstances and medical history should be discussed with the ophthalmologist

I've been struggling with myopia right eye is -2.50 and left eye is -2.75 and I'm considering surgery to get rid of my specs. There are so many options like Contoura Vision, SMILE, ICL, and LASIK, but I'm not sure which one is the best for me. Are there any side effects I should be worried about? Could you explain the pros and cons of each in detail?
