I've had stable eyesight for about a year now with -2.50 in my right eye and -2.75 in the left. I'm considering Contoura vision surgery but not sure if it's the best option for me what do you think would work better for my prescription?

Contoura vision is effective for your prescription; a refractive specialist can confirm eligibility based on corneal scans.

I'm Prakash from Chennai and currently using contact lenses. I'm 26 with a power of 2.50 in both eyes, but my left eye has CYL 0.75 and Axis 170. I'm considering LASIK surgery is it a good option for me? Also, what would be the total cost and does medical insurance cover it?
COST depends on dr and hospital.

Why do so many doctors and nurses wear glasses instead of getting laser eye surgery even when their eyes are fit for it? The doctor I consulted said it's just cosmetic and advised against surgery, but I'm curious why medical professionals seem to prefer specs over LASIK if it's safe and effective
While LASIK surgery is a safe and effective way to correct vision, many doctors and nurses choose to wear glasses due to a variety of factors, including personal preference, potential complications, and even perceived professional image. A doctor's advice against surgery may be based on individual patient factors and a conservative approach to treatment.
