I've had this stubborn dry cough for about 15 days now. It all started with a cold and cough, and I took some antibiotics and chest cold tablets for a few days back then. The cold cleared up, but this cough just won't go away. It's mostly at night before I sleep, but somehow it doesn't bother me when I'm actually asleep. The coughing makes it hard to breathe and sometimes I feel like my heart's racing. I even get these shivering vibrations in my upper body and hands. I already spoke to a general physician and got a bunch of medications like montelukast sodium, levocetirizine hydrochloride, methylprednisolone, and cefpodoxime proxetil potassium clavulanate. I'm on my second day of this prescription, and then I read online that some of these are for asthma. Really curious and a bit worried about what this could be, and if it's got to do with my lungs or heart. Any advice on what's going on and how to find out more?

View allI'm really worried. I've been having a constant temperature between 99.2 and 99.6 for over a month and a half now. We did all the tests like blood and urine cultures and they came back negative. I've taken the usual antibiotics but they didn't help. My doctor suggested a chest CT and now there's a suspicion of TB. He mentioned getting a TB test, but I don't have any cough or cold, so we can't do a sputum test. Could you take a look at the CT scan and let me know if it really looks like TB? Also, are there any other confirmatory tests we can do for TB apart from the sputum test?

Is there anything critical in my report? I'm worried because it mentions both hila are congested, but everything else seems normal like the cardiac shadow and costophrenic angles. Should I be concerned about the hila congestion? What does this mean for my overall lung health?

I've been having some breathing issues whenever the seasons change, and it's been happening for the past few years. It usually comes and goes on its own, but this time, it's been going on for about 23 days. I'm also feeling a bit of heaviness in the upper center of my chest, which feels really strange when I breathe. I don't have a fever, sore throat, or other flu-like symptoms. A few days ago, I started taking Grilinctus because it was recommended by a doctor for the same issue before, along with some other medicines that I can't remember now. I even got an Asthalin inhaler for emergencies, though I've never used an inhaler before, and I haven't tried this one yet either. While the breathing problem seems slightly better, the chest heaviness is making me anxious. Could this be asthma or possibly a heart problem? It's kind of stressing me out because it's hard to see a doctor right now with everything going on. Any advice on what I should do?
