I've had vision problems since I was a kid started at -2 and now it's -7. No doctor has been able to tell me if it's curable. Are there any treatment options besides surgery that could help improve my eyesight?

A prescription of -7 in eyesight indicates a high level of nearsightedness, also known as myopia. It means that the eye's lens needs a powerful negative lens to focus light correctly onto the retina, allowing for clear vision at close distances but making it difficult to see distant objects clearly. This condition typically requires glasses or contact lenses for proper vision correction

Now dealing with CNVM and silicon oil still in place. What's the safest way to remove the silicon oil without causing another retinal detachment? My vision is completely gone in that eye and I'm really worried about further complications
