I've just been diagnosed with TB and I'm wondering if it's okay for me to wash my hair. Also, is being out in the sunlight something I should be worried about with TB? I could really use some advice on this.

View allI'm dealing with pretty bad eosinophilia post nasal drip, and I've been taking a combination of meds including Pulmoclear, azithromycin, Norvent D syrup, Duolin Forte inhaler, Hetrazan, and some mucaine gel syrup for the last three days. I'm still coughing nonstop, day and night, and it's really affecting my sleep and appetite. I'm worried and not sure if I'm on the right track with the treatment or if there's something else I should be doing. Could you please help me understand what's going on and what I could possibly do to feel better?

I've been having a hard time breathing for about a week now. Every time I try to lie down, I start coughing a lot and feel like there's something stuck in my lungs, and my cough sounds whooshy. I noticed that if I sleep on an incline, I manage to get some rest. I'm a bit overweight, and my dad used to have sleep apnea, so I'm worried it might be something like that. Can you let me know what might be going on and if there's anything specific I should be doing or checking for?
It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of asthma or possibly sleep apnea. I recommend you try using an inhaler such as Ventolin (albuterol) to help with your breathing difficulties. You can take 2 puffs every 4-6 hours as needed. Additionally, you may benefit from using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, similar to what your father used. I suggest you consult with a doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
