I've just found out that I've got a positive ASO titre in my test results, and it's freaking me out a bit. I've been dealing with joint pain, and my doctor recommended some tests, including the RA factor and ASO titre, and while the RA came back normal, the ASO titre was positive. I tried reading up on what ASO is online, but I'm still not clear on how and why it happens. Is it something really serious? Like, could it really mess with my joints and heart valves? I'm just really anxious about what all this means for my health. Any insights would be super helpful.

I'm really worried about this ongoing chest pain and difficulty breathing thats been happening for 5 months, and now theres talk about a potential autoimmune disease.
