I've just gotten married, and whenever my wife and I try to have sex, I feel pain in the foreskin area of my penis. It looks like there's some bleeding, especially where the foreskin is attached. My wife is also experiencing discomfort in her vagina. We're both pretty worried about this. What steps should we take to address these issues?

Tongue ulcers can be quite painful.
Possible causes:
- Trauma or injury
- Viral infections (e.g., herpes, hand-foot-and-mouth disease)
- Bacterial infections (e.g., strep throat)
- Nutritional deficiencies (e.g., vitamin B12, iron)
- Hormonal changes
For relief, try:
- Applying topical anesthetics like Orajel or Anbesol
- Using a saltwater rinse
- Avoiding spicy or acidic foods
- Staying hydrated
- Consulting a doctor or dentist for proper diagnosis and treatment
If your symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention.

View allI'm a 33-year-old married woman with a kid and have been dealing with recurrent UTIs once or twice a year. There's a small hole in my vagina since birth that lets feces pass, which my urologist says is an RVF. I never had UTIs before marriage, but now they keep coming back. Which medical department should I consult for RVF? Is surgery the only option, and what's the success rate since I've heard it can come back even after surgery?

I've had kidney stones for years and now have a large 29 mm stone stuck in my left ureter near the bladder plus two smaller ones in my left kidney. My ultrasound shows mild hydronephrosis too. I've been using homeopathic meds like Berberis and Cantharis but not sure if they're helping. Can alcohol or beer actually help pass these stones or should I consider surgery given the size of the big one? Is medicine alone enough or do I need other treatment options?
Given the size of the kidney stone (29mm) and the presence of hydronephrosis, surgery is likely the best treatment option. While some homeopathic remedies like Berberis and Cantharis might provide some relief, they are unlikely to be sufficient to remove the stone or address the hydronephrosis. Alcohol or beer may not significantly aid stone passage, and could even worsen the pain and discomfort

My report says the ureters are obscured and there's a 5 mm kidney stone. Can a stone this size pass without surgery? What noninvasive tests like CT or MRI should I do to check for obstruction and locate the stone?
A 5mm kidney stone has a good chance of passing on its own, but a CT scan or MRI can help determine if the stone is obstructing the ureter and if further intervention is needed. CT scans are the preferred method for assessing kidney stones, as they are highly sensitive and can provide detailed images of the urinary tract.
