I've just recovered from Typhoid a few days ago, but now I'm feeling really dizzy, faint, and weak. Eating has become hard because nothing tastes right to me. I'm wondering what kind of food I should be eating to help with this, and if there's anything else I can do to feel better?

I've got this sudden sharp pain in my left rib when I breathe in, and it started while I was just sitting at my desk at work. It's been half a day, and it hasn't gone away. I can't take a full deep breath. Do you think this will just go away on its own, or should I be worried?

Ecg and x-ray chest is advised to the patient.

I'm dealing with typhoid fever for the last four days and recently got a CRP test that came back showing 24 mgL, but I know the normal range should be lower. Is it possible for CRP levels to rise with typhoid? Can you suggest ways to manage typhoid and help lower CRP levels?

Yes, CRP (C-reactive protein) levels can rise during infections like typhoid fever as part of the body's inflammatory response. It's important to follow your doctor's treatment plan, which usually includes antibiotics, hydration, and rest. Additionally, a healthy diet with anti-inflammatory foods and proper hydration can help manage CRP levels. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Can a lymph node under my jaw swell because I've been touching it a lot? I've been doing this for a few days now and I'm getting really worried. Could my habit of touching be causing this swelling?

Yes, continuous touching or irritating a lymph node can cause it to swell. It is important to avoid touching or pressing on the swollen lymph node. You can take over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen to help reduce any discomfort. If the swelling persists or worsens, consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.
