I've made a mistake and kept some Dettol hygiene liquidthe green kindin my mouth. Now, I can't feel my tongue and it's really sore. My tongue's skin is even peeling off. I'm freaking out a bit and when I went to Sahara Hospital, they told me it'll be fine by morning. I'm still really worried though, can you tell me what I should do? Is there anything else I need to watch out for?

View allI accidentally cut my finger on a sharp, rusty piece of iron today. I got a tetanus shot about two years ago, so I'm wondering if I need another one now. The bleeding was minimal and has stopped, but should I be worried about it?
Since you received a tetanus shot 2 years ago, you're likely still protected, but to be safe, consider consulting a doctor, as they may recommend a booster shot if the wound is deep, dirty, or shows signs of infection, and in your case, since the object was rusted, it's essential to monitor the wound for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or increased pain.
