I've managed to control my acne with glowgeous face wash, but my skin feels really dry now. Can you recommend a moisturizer that would be good for this?

View allI've been getting this weird mark that looks like a hickey on my neck. It's shown up three times in the exact same spot since last fall. The thing is, I know it's definitely not a hickey, and it doesn't itch or hurt. I'm pretty nervous because I haven't done anything that might cause it. I'm 39 and in decent health, and even using hydrocortisone cream hasn't helped. It's hard to see a doctor because by the time I get an appointment, it disappears. It just pops up out of nowhere. What do you think might be going on?

I've noticed some dark patches in my groin area and on my lower back, and it's getting pretty itchy and dry. Also, the skin on my minora has turned hyperpigmented and has this papillary texture, which I've only been seeing for the last few days. It's kinda concerning. What do you think might be going on?

I've been dealing with this pitryasis rosea thing since last week. The doctor said it might take a few months to clear up and gave me some mild soap and lotion. But now the first rashes are turning brown and feel bumpy and scaly. It's like I can feel them raised on my skin. They look really bad, and it doesn't seem like they're going away anytime soon. Is this normal? What should I expect, and is there anything else I can do?
It is normal for the rash in pityriasis rosea to evolve over time, with the initial rash often becoming darker in color and developing a scaly texture. To help alleviate the symptoms and promote healing, you can consider using a mild corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% twice a day on the affected areas. Additionally, taking an antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily can help with any itching. Make sure to continue using the prescribed mild soap and lotion as well. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
