I've missed my period and found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant, even though we used protection. I'm not in a position to raise a baby right now. A friend with an MBBS degree advised me to confirm the pregnancy with a scan and then take mifepristone orally, followed by 4 misoprostol tablets vaginally after 24 hours. But I haven't experienced any bleeding yet. After another 24 hours, I took 2 more misoprostol vaginally and 2 orally. Still, there's no bleeding, just some tissue passing and a few drops of a dirty white liquid. Can you help me understand what's happening?

Sounds like you are experiencing a medical abortion using medication. It is important to follow the correct dosage and administration guidelines for these medications. In your case, since there has been limited bleeding and only some tissue passing, it is advisable to seek medical attention promptly to ensure the completion of the abortion process and to address any potential complications.

my HSG test results say my uterus is normal in shape with no signs of bicornuate septate or arcuate uterus but both fallopian tubes weren't clearly seen though there was free peritoneal contrast and no hydrosalpinx. does this mean i need surgery or can i just take meds to fix this? my radiologist said it's not a big issue but i'm still worried
Your HSG results, while showing a normal uterus and free peritoneal contrast, indicate that the fallopian tubes may not be fully patent (open). This could mean they are slightly blocked, though your radiologist seems to believe it's not a significant issue. Further evaluation with a Diagnostic Laparoscopy and Tubal Patency test or a consultation with a fertility specialist is recommended to determine the best course of action

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with twins and I don't really feel any symptoms or feel pregnant at all. On top of that, I've caught a cold and I'm sneezing a lot. I'm really worried if everything's okay with my babies. Do you think they're safe or should I get another ultrasound? I had one done just 4 days ago. What do you think?
the lack of pregnancy symptoms at 5 weeks and the presence of a common cold are not usually causes for concern in a healthy pregnancy, especially if your ultrasound 4 days ago was normal. try toStay Calm,self-Care: Prioritize rest, hydration, and a healthy diet to support your immune system while you recover from your cold ,Keep up with your regular prenatal appointments and any prenatal vitamins or supplements recommended by your doctor. If youre feeling very worried, dont hesitate to reach out to your doctor for peace of mind.
