I've missed my periods, and it's been three weeks now. When I took a pregnancy test during the second week, the line was darker, but in the third week, it seemed a bit lighter. What does this mean? Im a bit worried and would appreciate some guidance.

View allI've been using Krimson 35 pills for a week, starting from the 10th day after my period began, up until the 17th day. Then I stopped taking them and had unprotected sex. A week later, I noticed some bleeding. Could this be implantation bleeding, or is it just my irregular menstrual cycle acting up? What are the chances that I might be pregnant? Since my periods are usually pretty irregular, I'm feeling a bit anxious.
The bleeding you noticed could be breakthrough bleeding from stopping the Krimson 35 pills, rather than implantation bleeding, as it typically happens after ovulation and would usually occur around the time of your expected period. Given your irregular cycles, it's hard to determine your exact fertile window, but there's still a chance of pregnancy, so it's advisable to take a pregnancy test after a missed period or consult your doctor.

I'm really worried because my ultrasound says I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant, but based on my last menstrual period, I should actually be around 8 weeks. There's no foetal pole seen yet. Is there a chance my pregnancy might not continue? How long should I wait before knowing for sure?
The discrepancy between your gestational age based on LMP (8 weeks) and ultrasound (5 weeks 4 days) is concerning, and the absence of a fetal pole at 5 weeks 4 days is a potential indication of a non-viable pregnancy or a miscarriage, so your healthcare provider may recommend waiting for 1-2 weeks for a follow-up ultrasound to confirm the presence of a fetal pole or heartbeat, but the prognosis is uncertain, and emotional preparation for a potential miscarriage is essential.
