I've noticed a couple of small black spots on my scrotum that are about the size of a pimple. I'm really worried because I don't know what these could be. It's a bit embarrassing to talk about, but I recently shaved down there and it even bled from one of the spots. It healed but then the spot formed again. Can you help me understand what's going on?

Possible Causes*

  1. Ingrown hairs: Shaving can cause hairs to become trapped, leading to inflammation, bleeding, and scarring.
  2. Folliculitis: An infection of the hair follicles, which can cause redness, swelling, and pus-filled bumps.
  3. Seborrheic keratoses: Benign growths that can appear as small, dark spots.
  4. Melanotic macules: Small, benign areas of pigmentation.

I'm dealing with some irritation near my genital area, and it's been itching for the past 3 to 4 days. There's also a mild white spot. I'm wondering if it's okay to use kitoford cream for this. What should I do?

Kitoford cream contains a combination of Clotrimazole and Beclomethasone. It is commonly used to treat fungal infections and inflammation of the skin. You can apply a thin layer of Kitoford cream to the affected area twice a day for up to 2 weeks. Make sure to clean and dry the area before applying the cream. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
