I've noticed this small lump, kind of pea-sized, under the skin on my right butt cheek, right where it connects with my thigh. It's pretty hard to the touch and really painful, especially when I sit. There's also some dark red-ish discoloration on the skin. Do you think this is anything serious or could it be a cyst or something else?

I've been dealing with these red bumps and itching along the sides of my waist for over a year now. The doctor gave me some medicine to take and told me to use Tenovate cream until it cleared up.
