I've noticed something odd with my stomach latelylike the left side is getting bigger than the right. During the day it's fine, but at night it feels like it's full of air and can be kind of noisy and annoying. And when I try to sleep, it's causing a really uncomfortable inner temperature increase, like my body's overheating and it makes me feel weak. Any idea what might be going on?

I've been dealing with constant diarrhea for the last couple of days, and even though I'm taking loperamide and using O.R.S., it hasn't stopped. Should I be worried? Is there anything else I can do to help stop it?

Persistent diarrhea despite taking loperamide and ORS warrants further attention; consider consulting a gastroenterologist or a primary care physician to rule out underlying causes like bacterial or viral infections, food poisoning, or inflammatory bowel disease; they may prescribe additional medications, such as antibiotics or anti-inflammatory agents, and recommend stool tests, blood work, or other diagnostic procedures to determine the underlying cause and develop an effective treatment plan.

I've been feeling heartburn since yesterday, and it's really bad when I try to sleepduring the day it's there but not as intense. Can you suggest some home remedies that might help?

Hello! It sounds like you are experiencing heartburn that worsens when lying down. For relief, you can try the following home remedies: - Avoiding trigger foods such as spicy, fatty, or acidic foods - Eating smaller, more frequent meals - Avoiding lying down right after eating - Elevating your head while sleeping - Drinking ginger tea or chamomile tea - Taking over-the-counter antacids like Tums or Rolaids as needed - Trying over-the-counter H2 blockers like Pepcid AC or Zantac - Using over-the-counter proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec OTC or Nexium 24HR for persistent symptoms - If symptoms persist, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I've been told to take Vsl 3 and Econorm once daily for a month. Is it okay if I take them in the afternoon with a 10-minute gap between them? I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing it right!
