I've noticed that sometimes when I bend my neck or look down, water suddenly comes out through my nose. I'm a bit concerned and wondering if this could be something serious. Is this something I should be worried about?

You may be experiencing a condition called cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea, where cerebrospinal fluid leaks through the nose. This can be caused by a skull base fracture or a tear in the membrane surrounding the brain. It is important to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management. Medications such as acetazolamide and gabapentin may be prescribed to reduce the production of cerebrospinal fluid.

I had sinus surgery with myringotomy, grommets, and balloon dilation for my eustachian tubes two weeks ago but my ears still feel clogged why is this happening and how long until I get better

It's common to experience ear pressure or a feeling of fullness after sinus surgery, even after procedures like myringotomy, grommets, and balloon dilation of the eustachian tubes. This is often due to swelling and inflammation in the nasal passages and sinuses, which can affect the Eustachian tube's ability to equalize pressure. While this should improve over time, it can take a few weeks to a few months for the swelling to subside and for your ears to feel normal again

I've been feeling a strange moving sensation in my left ear for almost two weeks now, like an insect or something. There's no pain when it happens, but I saw an ENT doctor a few days ago. She checked my ear and said there's no insect, and my eardrums are fine. She diagnosed me with a dislocated jaw and gave me some Vitamin B Complex and pain meds. She mentioned something about the jaw joint needing repair. This all started after I cleaned my ears with cotton buds. Now, my left jaw feels weird, like a toothache, and I also have a small sore near my last teeth. Could this insect-like feeling in my ear be related to the jaw pain? And how do I get rid of this strange crawling sensation?

The ENT doctor you visited seems to have clinched the diagnosis. I suggest you to follow up with same doctor.

I'm trying to understand a recent report I got. It mentions "mild DNS toward the right" and "bilateral concha bullosa," plus something about "pneumatization of the left anterior clenoid process" being an anatomical variant. Can you help me make sense of what these terms mean for my health? Should I be worried about any of this?

If you're experiencing symptoms like nasal obstruction, sinus infections, or facial pressure, you may benefit from: Medical treatment: Nasal sprays, antihistamines, or decongestants. Surgical evaluation: If symptoms persist, consult an ENT specialist. Procedures like septoplasty or turbinate reduction might be considered.
