I've noticed this weird dent at the top of my skull, like where a baby's soft spot would be, and I'm not sure how long it's been there. It's a little tender if I press on it, but not really painful. I haven't had any serious head injuries, just the usual bumps. Do you think this is something that could just develop over time, or should I be worried about it?

A soft spot in the skull or fontanelle is a normal feature for babies, but unusual for adults. If you are experiencing tenderness in that area, it may be worth getting it checked by a healthcare professional.

I'm really worried about recognizing the symptoms of a stroke and what the treatment process involves. How quickly do I need to get treatment if I suspect someone is having a stroke, and could you explain how the whole treatment process works?

Symptoms of a stroke include sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body, sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding speech, sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes, sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, and sudden severe headache with no known cause. The treatment for a stroke depends on whether it is ischemic (caused by a blockage in a blood vessel) or hemorrhagic (caused by bleeding in the brain). In the case of an ischemic stroke, the most common treatment is the administration of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) within 4.5 hours of the onset of symptoms to dissolve the clot. Another treatment option is a mechanical thrombectomy, where a catheter is used to remove the clot. For hemorrhagic strokes, treatment may involve surgery to repair the blood vessel or reduce pressure in the brain. The time needed for treatment varies depending on the individual case and the type of stroke. It is crucial to seek immediate medical attention if you suspect a stroke, as early treatment can help minimize brain damage and improve outcomes. Remember, time is of the essence when it comes to treating a stroke, so do not delay in seeking medical help if you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of a stroke.

For almost two weeks now, I've been having trouble with my balance. It's making it hard for me to work. Whenever I move, I feel like my head gets heavy or light, and sometimes it's even like everything's spinning. Walking is really tough because I can't stay steady. I went to see an ENT doctor and took the medication they gave me for five days, but nothing's changed. How long does it usually take for these symptoms to go away, or do you think it could be something more than an ENT issue? I'm worried because this is affecting my job too. What should I do next?

I'm genuinely worried about my mom. Shes been feeling this creepy crawling sensation under her skin, like ants biting her, and it's been happening several times throughout the day. It's mostly in the upper part of her body but seems to be spreading. This has been going on for over a month, and she's tried allergy meds like Atarax and Candiforce, but nothing's helping. And shes also diabetic, which adds to my concerns. Im not sure which specialist we should consult. Any guidance would be really appreciated.
