I've noticed that when I wake up in the mornings, my spit is kind of reddish, like there's a bit of blood in it. After that, everything seems normal and my spit isn't red anymore. What could be causing this? Should I be worried or do something about it?

- Over-supplementation: Taking high doses of vitamin B12 supplements, like your 1500mcg methylcobalamin, can cause elevated levels.
- Kidney or liver issues: Although your reports don't indicate any problems, kidney or liver dysfunction can affect vitamin B12 metabolism.
- Other medical conditions: Certain conditions, such as leukemia, lymphoma, or polycythemia vera, can cause elevated vitamin B12 levels.
Potential Risks of High Vitamin B12 Levels:
- Interference with diagnostic tests: Elevated vitamin B12 levels can affect test results for other conditions.
- Increased risk of cancer: Some studies suggest a potential link between high vitamin B12 levels and increased cancer risk.
Recommendations:
- Consult your doctor: Discuss your test results and supplement regimen with your doctor.
- Re-evaluate your supplement dosage: Consider reducing or adjusting your vitamin B12 supplement dosage.
- Monitor your vitamin B12 levels: Regularly check your vitamin B12 levels to ensure they return to normal.

I'm having some trouble with pain on the left side of my throat, where my food pipe is. It's really noticeable when I'm jogging and taking in air; it hurts quite a bit. The pain seems to stick around throughout the day too. Sometimes it even makes my left ear hurt a little. Any ideas on what this could be or how to deal with it?
It sounds like you may be experiencing inflammation or irritation in your throat, possibly related to acid reflux or a throat infection. To help alleviate your symptoms, I recommend taking a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole 20mg once daily before breakfast to reduce stomach acid production and help with any acid reflux. Additionally, you can try using a throat lozenge like Strepsils to soothe your throat as needed. It's also important to stay hydrated and avoid irritants like smoking or alcohol. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I've noticed a small lump under my jaw that I can feel when I press in, and it's also noticeable when I put a finger in my mouth and one under my jawit can move side to side. It's rubbery, doesn't hurt, and hasn't changed in size, staying about the size of a pea. I'm wondering if this is something I should be worried about or if it's just normal. Can you help me understand what's going on?
The lump you've described, which is palpable when pressing under the jaw, movable, rubbery, and painless, is likely a benign lymph node or a salivary gland stone or cyst; however, to rule out any potential concerns, schedule an appointment with a dentist or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT)
