I've noticed that whenever I travel by bus or train, I seem to get a lot of gas in my stomach, and it's super uncomfortable. It makes the whole journey pretty hard to enjoy. I'm really curious if there's anything I can do to prevent this from happening. Any suggestions?

I've noticed something strange with my stomach. When I'm sitting down, I can press on it and it feels completely normal, but as soon as I stand up, it feels a lot harder and I can't really press it in the same way. Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal?

Im an 18-year-old girl, and I recently noticed a small lump near my anus. I did some online searching and think it might be an external hemorrhoid. There was some bearable pain in that area before the lump showed up, so I didnt pay much attention to it. A week after, this small lump appeared after I went to the bathroom. It doesnt hurt or bleed, but Im a bit worried about what it could be. Could this really be a hemorrhoid, and what should I do next?

Based on your description, it is likely that you have an external hemorrhoid. To help alleviate the symptoms and reduce the swelling, you can try using over-the-counter medications such as Preparation H cream. Apply a small amount of the cream on the affected area up to four times a day. Additionally, you can take oral pain relievers such as ibuprofen to help with any discomfort. Make sure to drink plenty of water, eat a high-fiber diet, and avoid straining during bowel movements. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.
