just had cataract surgery this morning and was told to use eye drops but my eyes are also watery from a cold can i take cold medicine too or will it interfere with the surgery

I read online that the only available surgery is bionic eye in the US, but I wanted to check if there are any other successful treatments in India maybe in allopathy, ayurveda, or homeopathy.
