Last 3 months back I checked with doctor with thyroid reports. Doctor advised me to take 25 mg for 2 days a week and 50 mg for 5 days. I took for one month and stopped. Then I started taking 25 mg for the past 2 months. I have been taking 25 mg for past 7 to 8 years so I continued the same. Now today my TSH is 5.05 ml. Should I continue 25 mg or 50 mg. Please suggest. I am attaching my report. That time free T3 T4 T5 report I showed to doctor. Now my weight is increasing even on normal diet and I have hair fall and dandruff issues. Please suggest what to do? Remaining all is very good. No health issues and periods are normal.

Your current TSH is slightly above normal. Since you are having symptoms like weight gain and hair fall, your doctor may consider adjusting your dose slightly. Do not increase on your own consult your physician for proper titration.

My TSH is 16.1, but my T3 (1.31) and T4 (8.02) are within the normal range. Surprisingly, I am underweight at 56.5 kg with a height of 172 cm. The other symptoms of hypothyroidism also do not match the high TSH results, whereas symptoms of hyperthyroidism such as tachycardia, anxiety, and sleeplessness are seen. I am confused. What should be inferred here, please?
