I had ACL reconstruction surgery using a hamstring graft from my own leg. Does the part where they took the graft grow back or heal completely? Will my hamstring ever be the same as before the surgery?

The donor site in hamstring graft heals but might not fully regain original strength; with rehab, function usually recovers well but may feel slightly different.
