Madam/sir I missed my periods on 26th October. I took a test on 27th October beta hcg blood test that was negative and after 3 days I again took a test on 30th October that was positive 27.01. My question is I read online that one time beta hcg test is enough to detect pregnancy after missed periods. Why in my case it took 4 more days after missed periods? I got really worried?

Yes, one Beta HCG test after a missed period is usually enough but not always. In some women, HCG rises slowly, especially in early pregnancy. Your first test (on Day 1 of missed period) may have been too early to detect. By Day 4 (Oct 30), HCG reached 27 confirming pregnancy.

View allI am married, and my last menstrual period was on May 9. I usually have a regular cycle of 27 to 28 days. We take proper hygiene measures after intercourse. I have not yet had my period this month. I experienced cramps around my expected date, but my period did not arrive. I took a home pregnancy test on the 34th day, which was negative. It has now been 36 days. Should I wait longer, try period inducing foods, or do heavy workouts? Please advise.

This is my test report. Does it mean I am pregnant or not? I do not need a child soon, as it has been only 2 months and 3 days of marriage, and I need time to get adjusted with everything. My question is, if I do the test again after 3 weeks, can the result be negative? This is a beta HCG test.

My pregnancy test was positive when done yesterday, but today I had some sudden bleeding at the office. It did not continue, and right now there is no bleeding. I am very nervous and worried. Kindly suggest what I should do?
