Mam I had unprotected sex on 2nd October. She got her periods on 8th October with normal periods. If I want to be fully 100 percent assured that she is not pregnant what to do and when to do? If I take a beta hcg test then when can I take it for the perfect and final result? Will one time test be fine or is a second time test required if the first time I get a negative result? Please answer and clear my doubt sir and mam.

Since your partner had normal periods on Oct 8 after unprotected sex on Oct 2, the chance of pregnancy is almost zero. But if you still want to be 100 percent sure, do a Beta HCG blood test around Oct 23 or 24 (which is 21 days after the act). If the test is negative at that time, it means she is not pregnant and you do not need to repeat it.

Today I tested positive on a pregnancy test. Should I consult a doctor immediately or wait for one more week? My last menstrual period was 5 days ago, on 20th November.

I had a D and C on 10th August and got my period on 10th Sept. Today I took a pregnancy test, and it came out positive. Since I conceived just one month after my D and C, am I at an increased risk of miscarriage again?
