My 1-month-old son has a bigger belly button that's about 2 cm in height. Also, his right testicle sometimes swells up to almost double the size of the left one. The doctor says it might go away on its own within a year or else he'll need surgery. I'm really worried do these issues usually resolve by themselves?

A 2 cm umbilical hernia in a newborn usually resolves by itself within the first year, but if it doesn’t, surgery may be required. The testicular swelling should be monitored, but often resolves without intervention.

View allI'm wondering if it's okay to use Smyle ulcer gel for my four-year-old. Could you let me know if it's safe? Your advice would really help us out as parents.
Its best to consult your pediatrician before using Smyle Ulcer Gel or any similar products on a child under 5 years old. The doctor may recommend alternative treatments that are both safe and effective for your childs age.

Can I give suji halwa or kheer to my 8-month-old boy if he's been having loose stools for a week? Is suji good for him right now?
For an 8-month-old baby experiencing loose stools, it is important to focus on easily digestible foods. Suji (semolina) can be a good option as it is gentle on the stomach and can help firm up the stools. You can prepare suji halwa with minimal sugar and ghee for your baby. Additionally, you can also give your baby rice-based foods like rice water or rice cereal. Make sure to continue breastfeeding or formula feeding to prevent dehydration. If the loose stools persist or worsen, please consult a pediatrician for further evaluation and management.

I'm worried because I accidentally put a drop of nasoclear in my 40-day-old baby's mouth instead of his nose. He cried a lot after that. Is it safe, or should I be concerned?
Ideally it clears no complication,be safe next time
