My 13-year-old son is having ear pain, and he mentioned it hurts when he tilts his head down and up. I had to visit a chemist last night, and they gave him diclogem. I'm really concerned and unsure of what steps to take next. Could you please advise on what might be causing the pain and if this medication is appropriate for his age?

Throat pain while swallowing can be concerning.
Homeopathic remedies that may help:
- Belladonna (for sudden, severe pain)
- Lachesis (for pain on swallowing, especially liquids)
- Phytolacca (for painful swallowing, with swollen tonsils)
- Merc Sol (for throat pain with excessive saliva)
Consult a homeopathic doctor for personalized guidance and proper dosage.
Remember, if symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention.

My sinuses are killing me and the pain is unbearable, especially when I lie down it feels like someone's smashing my nose with a hammer. My throat hurts too and there's so much pressure building up. I really don't want to go straight to surgery or antibiotics, are there any natural remedies that can help with this?
Sinus pressure occurs when the membranes that line your nasal passages become irritated or inflamed. Mucus may also build up and stop draining, leading to pain and pressure. Causes include colds, allergies and sinus infections. Taking over-the-counter medications and keeping your sinuses moist can help ease discomfort.

my 7-year-old needs a tonsil surgery but I'm worried about safety and long-term effects is it really safe for kids that young also heard some kids get ear and head pain after the surgery how common is that
Tonsil surgery (tonsillectomy) in a 7-year-old is generally considered safe, but it's important to discuss any concerns with your child's doctor. While the procedure is common and has a good safety record, there are potential risks and side effects to be aware of, including ear pain and headaches after surgery.
