my 14 year old daughter has a clavicle fracture - is the sling and brace from the doctor enough or will she need surgery for proper healing

For most clavicle fractures in kids, a sling is sufficient; surgery is rare unless displaced or overlapping significantly.

I'm really concerned about this back pain I've been having around my waist area for about a year now. It hurts whenever I stand or sit in one spot for over an hour and it gets worse if I lift something heavy or bend over to do stuff for like 10 to 20 minutes. The weird thing is, it eases up when I rest or lie down. I haven't had any injuries or medical conditions that I'm aware of, so I'm not sure what's going on. Could this just be a muscle sprain, or is there something else I should be worried about?

It sounds like your back pain could be related to muscle strain or poor posture, especially if it worsens with prolonged sitting or lifting. It might also be due to muscle imbalances or tension. If rest helps, that's a good sign, but I recommend seeing a healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation to rule out other possible causes.

I tore my ACL grade 2 and I'm really worried can it heal on its own or will I need surgery? I've heard mixed things and don't know what to expect for recovery

My MRI shows bone marrow contusions in both femur and tibia condyles with moderate synovial effusion, a grade 2 ACL tear, horizontal tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, and grade 1 MCL sprain. I've been doing quad and ROM exercises at home for almost 2 months do I really need surgery or can I keep managing this without going under the knife
