My 4.5-year-old daughter has adenoid issues and is currently on medication. I'm really worried about surgery are there any effective non-surgical treatments we can try? Her symptoms are bothering her, and I'd love to explore other options before considering surgery. What would you recommend?

Adenoidectomy is a safe procedure in the pediatric population and leads to excellent outcomes. Adverse events are rare, and hospitalization is uncommon. Children with sleep disturbance from nasal airway obstruction, ear disease, or chronic rhinosinusitis are the best operative candidates for this procedure.

View allI'm just wondering about the right dosage for Zincovit tablets for a 10-year-old kid and for adults. And I'm also curious about the right dosage for Celin 500mg in both kids and adults. Is the Celin tablet chewable?
For Zincovit: - Children (10 years old): 1 tablet (containing 20mg zinc, 100mg vitamin C, and other multivitamins) once daily after meals, - Adults: 1-2 tablets once or twice daily after meals. For Celin 500mg: - Children (10 years old): 250-500mg (12 to 1 tablet) once daily, - Adults: 500mg (1 tablet) once daily. Celin 500mg tablets are not chewable; they should be swallowed whole with water.

I'm really concerned about my 3-month-old baby because my husband drinks alcohol every day and sleeps right next to the baby. I'm worried if this could affect our baby in any way. Are there any possible side effects I should be aware of?
It's understandable to be concerned. If your husband is drinking alcohol regularly, there's a risk of accidental exposure to secondhand alcohol or other issues, especially if he's not fully alert while sleeping next to the baby. It's important to ensure a safe, sober environment for your baby to avoid any risks, including suffocation or impaired caregiving.

I'm really concerned about my child who's under 12 and has been complaining of stomach pain. I heard about Anafortan injection with camylofin hydrochloride, but I'm not sure what the right dose would be for someone that young. Can you help me figure this out?
The dose of Anafortan injection (camylofin hydrochloride) for children below 12 years old with stomach pain is usually 0.5 mg per kg of body weight, given intramuscularly. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider for the exact dosage based on the child's weight and condition.
