My 5-month-old baby is having really bad loose motions, probably because of the antibiotics Advent that he's taking for ear pain. I'm giving him Enterogermina, but he's still having loose stools about 7 to 8 times a day. I'm really worried since he's so little, and the antibiotic course is still going on. What should I do to help him?

Fever for 4 days can be concerning.

Parasitamol (Acetaminophen)

  1. Temporarily relieves fever: Parasitamol can help reduce fever, but it doesn't address the underlying cause.
  2. Not a cure-all: While parasitamol can provide temporary relief, it's essential to identify and treat the underlying cause of your fever.

Consult a Doctor

  1. Prolonged fever: Fever lasting more than 3-4 days requires medical attention.
  2. Underlying cause: A doctor can help determine the cause of your fever, which could be a viral or bacterial infection, or another underlying condition.
  3. Cough and other symptoms: Although your cough is rare, it's still important to mention it to your doctor, as it could be related to your fever.

Please consult a doctor to:

  1. Determine the underlying cause of your fever.
  2. Receive proper treatment and guidance.
  3. Rule out any complications or underlying conditions.

I'm really worried because my 12-year-old daughter accidentally swallowed a date seed. I'm not sure if it will pass through her system safely or if we should consider any specific medication to help with digestion. Can you let me know if there's anything I should watch out for or any precautions we should take?

If your daughter has swallowed a date seed, it is likely to pass through her digestive system without causing any issues. However, it is important to monitor her for any signs of abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, vomiting, or breathing difficulties. Make sure she stays hydrated and eats high-fiber foods to help the seed pass through her system. If she experiences any severe symptoms or if you are concerned, you can give her a mild laxative like Dulcolax to help move the seed through her system.
