View allI'm a 35-year-old male engineer, and I've recently had my gallbladder removed. I'm still on bed rest and trying to figure out how much more time I might need to fully recover. Can you give me an idea of the usual recovery period for this surgery? I'm concerned about how much longer I might need to stay off work.
Surgeon opinion is advised to the patient.

What does appendix pain feel like?
Normal appendix do not cause any pain unless it is inflammed. During that period, pain usually starts around umbilicus and later travel to right lower abdomen where appendix is situated. It is a sharp shooting type of pain which increases on walking, coughing and pressig on that area. Additional symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and fever may be present.
