My baby girl is just 3 months old, and I've noticed that her eyes seem a bit flat. Is this something serious? What should we do to take care of this right away? Would really appreciate your guidance on this concern.

I'm really worried because my 5-month-old son accidentally got a small cut on his finger while I was trimming his nails. There were just a couple of drops of blood, and I immediately applied Dettol to the area. But now I'm concerned about the possibility of tetanus. Do you think there's a risk? Should I get him a shot just to be safe?

Since the wound was minor with only a few drops of blood and you applied Dettol, the risk of tetanus infection is low; however, as a precautionary measure, consult your pediatrician, who may recommend a tetanus toxoid injection if your child hasn't received the first three doses of the DTaP vaccine or if the wound is deep or dirty.

I'm a bit worried about my 10-year-old son. He has swelling, pain, and pus coming from his right ear. Last year, I was prescribed Candibiotic ear drops for my own ear infection, so I'm wondering if they're safe and effective to use for him as well. If not, could you suggest some other options for treating this kind of ear infection?

I would strongly advise against using Candibiotic eye drops for your son's ear infection. Eye drops are formulated specifically for the eyes, and using them in the ears can cause more harm than good.
