My blood report shows normocytic normochromic cells with macrocytes and ovalocytes, and my liver enzymes are elevated (SGOT is 55.9 U/L, SGPT is 61.9 U/L). I do not consume alcohol or cold drinks. I want to know if it is safe to undergo surgery for dry ear perforation. Also, could these results indicate any underlying disease? Please advise.

These mildly raised liver enzymes are not usually a contraindication for surgery. Inform your surgeon and anesthetist. Maintain a healthy diet and avoid alcohol.

Attached are my LFT reports. I see that my bilirubin level is much higher than the normal range. What should I do to reduce the bilirubin levels? Should I use any medication? Currently, I am on statin medication for high cholesterol.
