My blood report shows RBC normocytic normochromic with mild anisopoikilocytosis. WBC shows lymphocytic predominance with mild eosinophilia. Platelets are adequate on the smear. What does it mean? Thank you.

Indicates mild variation in red cell size/shape and viral/reactive pattern in WBCs. No serious concern unless symptoms persist.

My father, who is diabetic, has been suffering from chronic cough for some time, especially in cool air. Recently, he developed high fever, and the doctor diagnosed him with pneumonia, prescribing tablets and syrup. He continues to take both pneumonia and diabetes medications. Sleeping in a cooler worsens his cough. He had slight relief after stopping diabetes medications for a day, but it was minimal. The doctor recommended a sputum test, but he is unable to produce sputum. What should be the next steps?
