My blood report shows TPHA positive. Please suggest the treatment or medicine for this condition. It is urgent because I need to travel to Saudi Arabia soon

TPHA positive means past or current syphilis. You need benzathine penicillin G injection UNDER EXPERT CONSULTATION (2.4 million units IM, single dose). Confirm stage of infection before dosing. Delay travel until treatment is documented and the response is confirmed.

View allMy report shows syphilis is reactive with a 1:4 titre. I was told by a doctor at a clinic that penicillin injection is needed for treatment but it is rarely available. What should I do now and where can I get the injection. I am from Bangalore and would appreciate your advice.

Hi, I recently had a VDRL test, and it came back reactive. Which type of doctor should I consult for proper treatment? Also, is this condition permanently treatable?

Hi. My VDRL is positive and TPHA is 1.0 negative. In October, my report showed this. The doctor gave 4 injections of 1.2 lakh each over 2 weeks. Before 2008, my VDRL was active and TPHA was not active. The doctor gave 2 injections of 2.4 lakh. From 2008 to August 2017, I did not have any ulcers. In 2017, one night I slept and in the morning I noticed a black spot on the shaft of my penis. The next day an ulcer appeared on the skin and after 4 days it went away, but the skin color did not return to normal. Recently, I have much itching and burning. Please help. I am currently in KSA.
