Is my blood test report normal? My platelet count has been high in some tests and low in the last three values. My ESR is 8. Please explain whether this is normal or a cause for concern.

Mild platelet variation is common. ESR 8 is within normal limits. Monitor with periodic CBC and ESR to check trends. Please take the test regularly.

View allI received my CBC report today, and my blood platelets have increased from 100,000 to 135,000 in three days. I do not have fever, and I am eating and drinking well. The only issue is that I feel chills. Could this chill be due to low platelets? Despite this, I am performing 3 rounds of push ups (15 each) with 30 second rest. Please advise if the chills are related to platelet count.

Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from fever for the past 4 days. My recent blood report shows a platelet count of 69,000 and hemoglobin of 11.8. When I discussed the low platelet count with my doctor, he mentioned that it can sometimes be low in typhoid as well, and that the prescription would be the same even if it were dengue. My concern is that every morning I experience headache, high fever, and shivering, which is only relieved by Paracetamol. Is it normal in typhoid to have recurring fever every day along with a decreased platelet count?
