My child is experiencing rashes all over the body, which sometimes appear in one area and disappear from another. He also has fever, sleepiness, and nausea. He has been taking Atarax 6 ml and Rantac 3.5 ml for the past day, but he feels very weak and even fell down while complaining of nausea. I got a CBC done, and his platelet count is normal.

Rash with fever, sleepiness, and nausea may indicate viral infection, drug reaction, or another underlying cause. Atarax (antihistamine) can cause drowsiness, which may explain the weakness and fall. Since platelets are normal, dengue is unlikely, but monitor for worsening rash, high fever, or reduced urine. Ensure hydration and light meals. If drowsiness and weakness persist, consult your paediatrician, about adjusting medication. You can repeat CBC and get Liver Function Tests if symptoms continue.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test
