My child has been having a cough for about three weeks now. We were advised to use monocef and phensedyl, but a week ago, she caught a cold and we switched to using moxikind. Now she's got both cold and cough again. Can we use moxikind for her cold while still giving her monocef and phensedyl for the cough? I'm a bit worried and just want to make sure we're doing the right thing.

My 2.3-year-old son only says 1 or 2 letter words like mummy, papa, ayu, bhavu. He also mixes up words, saying 'taj' instead of 'raj.' His pediatrician suggested surgery for extra skin under his tongue is this really necessary? What else can I do to help his speech development?

1. Buy simple cardboard books like animals, fruits, transport books and read together, this will improve vocabulary. Then buy books like Bubble series.. and together read every night . Also ,Singing rhymes with actions is fun way to improve language. 2.Talk to him everything you are doing in daily activities eg: if you are chopping veggies, tell him so.. 3.Send him to Play group/preschools. 4. Wait for a month and If this doesn't help then go to pediatricians to evaluate in details.

My little girl is 2 and almost 11 months and just a couple of days ago, she came down with a fever. We got a urine routine test done and the results mentioned that ketones were present at 50.0 mgdl and pus cells are at 10-15 WBCHPF. I'm really worried about the ketones; are they something dangerous? What should I be aware of or do next?
