My creatinine level has increased from 2.1 to 4.65 this month. I have been under treatment for the last four and a half years. Please suggest what should be done?

A rise in creatinine from 2.1 to 4.65 indicates rapid kidney function decline. Needs urgent review by a nephrologist to adjust or intensify treatment. Causes could include dehydration, infection, medication side effect, or progression of CKD. Avoid painkillers, high protein diet, and over the counter meds.

Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test or Take a eGFR Test (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) Test
