My dad and husband both tested positive for COVID and they had a fever last week. The fever's gone now, but they're both coughing now and then, especially when talking, laughing, and sometimes even when sleeping. They're not having any chest pain or breathing issues, so I'm wondering if steam inhalation would help? Also, are there any warning signs we should be on the lookout for?

I've been coughing for such a long time, but all my tests are coming back normal. The AFB test was negative, and even the X-rays look fine. Why am I still coughing so much? What could be causing this? I'm starting to get really worried.

Probable diagnosis is asthma,Copd, allergies, bronchitis, pneumonia ,GERD,sinusitis, etc tobacco use etc .Patient is advised for CT chest, complete blood count ,esr and C-reactive protein tests.

I'm really worried because I've been rejected for a medical check for Kuwait due to two white spots on the left side of my lungs. I feel stranded since I can't fly even though I think I'm medically fit. Is there any hope of getting rid of these spots? I had TB when I was almost 3 years old22 years ago now. I'm 24. Is there any treatment I can consider?

I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. The white spots on your lungs are likely scar tissue from your past TB. While treatments like bronchoscopy or surgical options can sometimes help, they may not always clear the scars entirely. Consulting a pulmonologist for a detailed evaluation is the best step.

I've been dealing with a really intense dry cough ever since the second wave of COVID. It's mostly at night and doesn't really respond to regular cough meds. My doctor put me on Foracort 200 rotacaps, and it works almost immediately, which is great. But I'm still having episodes of this cough almost every night, and I keep reaching for the rotacaps. I'm kind of worried... is it okay to keep using Foracort 200 like this? And are there any potential side effects if I use it long-term?

you can use this medicine, but it has side effects headache nausea
