My dad is getting a front tooth replacement under a health scheme and the doctors have done multiple root canals during the process. Could there be any long-term side effects from this? He's also noticing a slight shivering in his right thumb could that be related?

View allI've hurt the inside of my mouth while brushing my teeth and it's been really painful for about three days now. It's started affecting my teeth because of an ulcer. What can I do to help with the pain? I'm really struggling with this.
You may have developed a mouth ulcer due to the injury. To help with the pain and promote healing, you can use a topical oral gel containing Choline Salicylate and Cetalkonium Chloride. Apply the gel directly to the ulcer 3-4 times a day after meals and at bedtime. Additionally, you can take Ibuprofen 400mg tablets as needed for pain relief. Make sure to maintain good oral hygiene and avoid spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the ulcer.

I've bitten the inside of my lip by mistake, and it's gotten pretty swollen now. It's really making eating and talking tough. What should I do about it?
You can try using an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen to help reduce the swelling and pain. Additionally, you can apply a topical oral gel containing lidocaine to help numb the area and provide some relief. Make sure to eat soft foods and avoid spicy or acidic foods that may irritate the area further. If the swelling persists or worsens, it would be best to consult with a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm really worried because a little piece of my tooth in the upper jaw, close to my wisdom tooth, broke off a couple of days ago, and it just keeps hurting constantly. I've been taking Zerodol-P and Augmentin 375 like someone suggested to help with the pain, but it's not getting any better. Should I be doing anything else before I can see a dentist, or is there something specific I should ask them?
