A 6cm benign tumor in the upper part of the stomach fundus may not require immediate surgery, but it's crucial to consult with a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Surgery is often recommended for benign tumors causing symptoms, but in some cases, "watchful waiting" with regular monitoring might be an option. While medications can't shrink the tumor itself, they can help manage symptoms like pain or swelling

Im an 18-year-old girl, and I recently noticed a small lump near my anus. I did some online searching and think it might be an external hemorrhoid. There was some bearable pain in that area before the lump showed up, so I didnt pay much attention to it. A week after, this small lump appeared after I went to the bathroom. It doesnt hurt or bleed, but Im a bit worried about what it could be. Could this really be a hemorrhoid, and what should I do next?

Based on your description, it is likely that you have an external hemorrhoid. To help alleviate the symptoms and reduce the swelling, you can try using over-the-counter medications such as Preparation H cream. Apply a small amount of the cream on the affected area up to four times a day. Additionally, you can take oral pain relievers such as ibuprofen to help with any discomfort. Make sure to drink plenty of water, eat a high-fiber diet, and avoid straining during bowel movements. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I've had gallstones for 10 months now and tried homeopathic treatment from four different doctors some gave constitutional remedies, others specific gallstone medicines. While it helped with gas and pain, my stones actually increased from 4-5 to over 10. The biggest is 13mm and the rest are around 8-10mm. Is there still hope with homeopathy, or should I consider surgery as my last option? Can Ayurvedic medicine dissolve stones larger than 10mm?

A 13 mm stone in the gallbladder is considered a medium-sized stone, posing a moderate risk of complications. While it may not always necessitate immediate surgery, it warrants careful monitoring and may require surgical intervention if symptoms develop.

My dad has been feeling nauseous and vomiting all day but his sonography and CT scan came back normal. His creatinine is 1.92 and endoscopy showed acid reflux. He has a pacemaker from 2014 and had bypass surgery in 2008. Right now his cardiologist has him on three meds for acid reflux Zofer, Rantac 300, and Pantocid. Is this the right treatment or should one of Rantac or Pantocid be stopped? Could there be a better option?

In this case, nausea and reflux may be related to kidney function or meds. Zofer (ondansetron) is okay short term. Only one PPI (Pantocid) is usually needed—consult for drug interaction review.
