My dad has terrible lower back pain from a slipped disc shown on MRI two discs shifted to the right, causing awful pain in his right leg. He can barely walk or sit but doesn't want surgery. What meds or exercises could help ease his pain?

I have atrophy and weakness in my left supraspinatus muscle. One doctor recommended suprascapular surgery, but another said it's just an infection and advised physiotherapy instead. I'm confused about what to do should I go for surgery or stick with physiotherapy?

I'm about 4 months into recovering from a D12 compression fracture, but I'm still experiencing severe back pain and my legs feel like they're twisting. I'm worried and wondering how much longer it might take for the D12 area to heal. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about these lingering symptoms?
