My dad's 58 and he's been dealing with a high fever, loose motion, and shivering since yesterday. Today the fever's come down, but the loose motion hasn't stopped. He's also feeling weak and has body pain. We started him on antibiotics, like allopathic medicine, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. What should we do next?

View allI'm feeling a bit under the weather with a sore throat and a cold. I'm wondering if Azithromycin or Augmentin would be better to take for this. Also, should it be for 3 days or is 5 days more effective? I'm just trying to figure out the best way to get back to feeling normal.
Azithromycin and Augmentin are both effective antibiotics. However, Azithromycin is often preferred due to its convenient once daily dosing and shorter treatment duration. I would recommend Azithromycin 500mg once daily for 3 days. This regimen is usually sufficient to treat throat infections caused by bacteria.

Had a tetanus shot about 23 weeks ago, but now I've injured myself on iron again. Do I really need another tetanus injection today? It's a bit confusing and I'm concerned about what I should do.
